What attachment are you talking about?
That link is designed to be able to flop over center. And can be a real pain to hook up.
It is not quick hitch compatible.

Mine is. It's more of a stirrup or yoke. I have mine mounted between the top cylinder and the quick hitch. That way, it's always there for any implement or mower I happen to be using. The 3ph is raised all the way so it's hard to see the available movement. This works great for my rotary and flail mower as well as my drag blade.

That style is often encountered;

It was designed to have the ears mount to the pin attaching the top link,

As in this photo, often times the top attachment hook has to be removed,

As shown here, usually pined into the clevis on the brush hog to allow lots of flexibility, while still lifting the brush hog when raised.
