Wayne County Hose...A question or two, (if you don't mind)...I did not know under pressure QD's existed. How do they work? Are they more expensive than normal connectors? That means you could change out attachments without turning the tractor off and equalizing the pressure...Hmmm.

How do they work? I don't really know. I never looked into it. The male end can be up over 5,000 psi, the female end has to be zero, or close to it. Welcom to Holmbury. Look up APM series. There are other manufacturers that have them as well.

RedBug,

WR Long makes a pretty clean bulkhead valve kit for Kubotas. I seem to remember it about $50-$60. The bulk head plate kit includes the bulk head plate with bulk head fittings along with two sets of hydraulic quick couplings.

I like the custom bulkhead, I just got my LD48 grapple from Millonzi and love it, I am planning on building a similar setup but will install my 90's befor the quick couple. I will post some pics when I finish it up. The Long setup gave me the idea, but it looks bulky and vulnerable to damage. I want something more custom. Keep up the great work.

RFB,

Several of my friends have the bulkhead kit installed on their tractors. When I ordered mine I forgot to specify the kit. More people have them installed as not. I plan on ordering the kit in the near future and doing the install myself.

That's probably a good idea Justcountry about making the bulkhead less vulnerable to damage by welding some angle iron to the sides, etc. I did that on my WR Long grapple...where the hoses connect to the grapple itself. One of the other TBN members, (RPK to be exact), mentioned about doing it to his, and after using mine, I noticed a few limbs grazed that area when pushing debris. I did it before something got messed up. I'm glad he mentioned it because I started watching that vulnerable area closer when using the grapple.

Hey lincolnVT,
Where did you buy the actual bulkhead fittings? I didn't see that info in the post. Nice job BTW......
