Buggy canaopy

I would like to mount a buggy canaopy or umbrella on my rops have any of you done this. If so how and do you have pictures. I have a 451 Massey. I should clear somthing up by Canaopy I mean canvas as this thing must be very portable because of parking and chicken house duties as I am a one man show it must be easy and fast.

I have buggy tops on many of my older tractors.. I prefer them to the umbrellas.

I think I have a pic of a top on my IH cub..

The canopy kit is from tsc.. 89 or so bucks. You then can buy the fenbder bracket kit for another 25-30.. or fab your own. On this install I fabbed my own but on other installs I've used the bracket kit.

None of my tractors with the buggy top has a rops.. however I'm pretty sure the box said it is designed to 'clear' rops.. etc..

In fact.. the bracket kit comes with tube brackets that could be hose clamped tot he rops uprights.. then you attatch the cannopy to the brackets.. no drilling or welding the rops.
I did something similar to that on my yanmar tractor. it had fender handles.. and I used 6 hose clams ( 3 each side ) to attatch the tube bracket to the fender.. then added the buggy top. Icould have simply drilled the fender.. but I didn't want to mess up the otherwise perfect metal.

I have a snowco brand umbrella mounted on the ROPS of my KIOTI. I love it and it is easy to take on and off. Do a search for snowco to find their website or a dealer, I bought mine from a local dealer that had it mounted on a Kubota /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif, it was about $80.00.
