Users of a B2765 plow beware. This fall I purchased the 60" snow blade and quick hitch setup for my B2920. Used all winter here in SE WI with very good success. Until yesterday. Somehow I managed to clip the right edge of the blade on a chunk of frozen gravel and it shock loaded the angle ram on the and blew the end out.
The ram end is held together not by a threaded end, but by a snap ring. It deformed the end of the tube when the end blew out. Seems to be a cheesy/cheap way to build cylinder. I had the trip mechanism set to the loose side, so the way I clipped the ice/gravel ball must have been perfect lol.
The cylinder from kubota, which I found online, is priced at $601. Very pricey I think for such a cheaply made cylinder.
I will calling my local dealer tomorrow to hopefully have this warrantied. Snow is still flying!
