Broken Lower Bushing

About 2 weeks ago I broke the lower bushing on my pt425 where it articulates. I was trying to pull it out of some very deep mud that I should not have gone in, it was over 2 feet deep. I cut the old bushing off with a sawzall with a new metal blade. Worked realy good. I then ground it down flush with a right angle grinder. I welded it with a stick welder and it is now as good as new.

Glad you were able to repair it. Did you have to get a new bushing? If so, where did you get it?

I did not take pictures. I did'nt have time.

The bushing had a piece broken off it. I assumed you have to buy it from Power Trac but did not look elsewhere. The repair was easier than I thought it would. I have never done anything like that before.

How much was the bushing assy from PT. I have'nt seen anything like it in any supply catalogs/tractor supply places.
