Bradco mulcher

/ Bradco mulcher #2
Well the link you sent wouldn't open but I happened to see what I think it linked to by shear accident. It wasn't anything new. It was a a skid steer mulcher with a flat plate across the top bolted to the pushbar mounts. So that would make it about 3k lbs easily. Plus with the way it was mounted it wasn't very solid. Just reporting what I saw.
I think I will stick to a purpose built excavator head that is of the proper weight and strength for excavators. Plus were back to the carbides and recommended powerpacks. With the fuel prices where they are I don't think so. But I welcome the competition and we'll see how they do.

This is the old Magnum mulcher - it's a decent mulcher, unfortunately parts prices did go up once Bradco purchased the Magnum brand and name. That being said, I've known guys that have run these on excavators, they do a fine job. No issues out of the mounting bracket that I know of.
