I finaly bought me a Kubota tonight, have to make a bit of a road trip to go get it in a week. Got me a B6000 4x4 with a hyd lift/hyd angle front blade. Good tires all the way around, just needs some fresh paint and new lower 3pt arms. I will be on the hunt for a Woods RM42 with CCW rotation later this year. Cheers Mike and Michele T

Does anybody know if Kubota still has the ROPS offer going on for this model. I found a post from a couple of years ago that had a ROPS for $148 for this model. I would like one as I have laid a tractor on its side once when a drainage tile gave way. Thats some pucker power for ya! Cheers Mike

Hi there,
Congrats, yes, I believe the ROPS is still available. Kubota is very keen on you getting one and would be surprised if the subsidy is still not available.

I saw the machine on E-Bay this week, good luck with the acquisition.

I've got two B6000E's, one with loader and frame mounted backhoe and one with original tiller, 3-point finish mower and even got the Hub city PTO reverser.

These machines are very reliable and solid built.

I've never had a problem with either. Super stout machines.

Good luck,
Joel

Looks like they still have something going. I can't find the pdf file I originally had, but check out this page and have your dealer check into it for you.

My first Kubota was a B6000E. That's when I found out what rugged little machines they are. It served me well. Good luck with yours.

What a beauty! Get all your oil leaks stopped before you paint. Consider a professional power coating job she deserves it! This model was a real workhorse for kubota. Lots of history available for this old gear tractor's reliability.

Buckle up and get ready to have fun...yes sir you have joined the ranks of the land black hole for the tractor owners! I always thought boats held the record for black hole spending, but no way compared to tractors.

You will find more attachment needs than you ever dreamed were available for that little tractor. Looks like a nice rig and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Aleast I can use the tractor year round and have something to show for it! We had a boat and they are a hole in the water in which you just throw money. I also have a custom Wheel Horse 654 from the early 60's that has a air cooled, 4.5hp Yanmar clone diesel put in it. Its done mechanicly other than rebuilding the mower deck spindle gear boxes. Still needs a date with Mr Rattle can once warmer weather gets here. She has a nice stack with turnout now. Cheers Mike and Michele T

We live in Fairview, PA, just west of Erie. Right up on the lake. But we are moving back to Kokomo Indiana as we inherited my late Grandmothers place. Just a nice small house in the suburbs with a fenced yard for my dogs and a 1 car garage to small for anything we drive. That will be the botas home once we get moved. I got the Kubota a bit less than his opening bid on fleabay. I am not sure if I will keep the snow blade or not. I might sell the blade so I can get a Woods RM42 deck for it. Kokomo doesnt get to much snow and I have a back blade I can use. I plan to go out to eastern PA to pick up the bota a week from today. Mike

Wow sounds like you are really on the move. Good luck with the relocation and the new tractor. One rule I try to live by is never sell a tool you might need down the road. But, with that said I have done it and ended up kick my behind many times..........so goes life.

Great Kubota find! That sure is a burly looking plow on it!!! Wow!

I'm a week old new owner of my first Kubota too, a B5200 4wd. Plan to get a loader next week.

Cool tractor. I'm sure that blade will come in handy.

Just in case you're looking for something to do on a rainy Saturday, your front passenger tire is on backward.

Looks like it will be fun. Congrats.

I saw this same tractor on Ebay too....nice little machine!

And as for the front tires....just switch them as they both are on backwards!

Good luck........

Trust me, they DO get snow in Kokomo. Maybe not like what you're used to up by the Lake, but more than enough to justify keeping that blade.

Neat little rig. I'm sure it'll serve you well.

We are gong to keep the blade, it is a Kubota blade to! I am correcting the backwards ags on the front, someone at the tire shop wasnt paying attention, there is an arrow and the word "rotation" written in black marker right on the tire rim! We went and picked up the bota yesterday, long drive, but she is home now. I will be firing it up shortly, getting it off the trailer and plowing our drive. I do need to find a replacement bottom oil cup for the oil bath air filter, mine is missing, but the rest of the assembly is there. I already emailed a couple of compact salvage yards. Thanks Mike

Here is a good source for parts.

I just sold one of my B6000E's, had a loader and backhoe on it.

I'm selling my other one now on E-Bay, finish mower and tiller, both the original reverse spinning models. They are super nice machines.

Good luck,
Joel
