Bobcat E35 engine question

I'm looking at purchasing a Bobcat E35 Mini-ex in the coming weeks from a buddy of mine. It's a 2016 model with the 33 HP engine. The engine is tier 4 compliant, but for the life of me, I can't figure out if it has a DPF or not. I know that it doesn't use DEF, so that's a positive. I looked over the engine, and I can't see anything in the exhaust system that has wiring running to it, so it leads me to believe that there is no DPF. The engine is a Kubota D1703-M-D1-E4B from what I've been able to pull from my internet searches and conversations with AI.

Does any of you have this machine, or another one with the same engine, that can give me a little more information about the emissions and what to expect? I would really appreciate it.

I have a 2023 or 24 E35.. No def fluid

Probably late for this but I am purchasing a new 2023 E35 no def or dpf however the engine is only 34.5 HP not the 33HP which may make a difference. Did you purchase it and if so are you happy with it?

I have a E35 Bought it in 2025 new.. Its a really nice machine.. But I came from a KX121.... That machine was noticeably stronger.. Just couldn't run a mower properly without the open valve.

I have a E32, same machine different swing tail, E35 swing is contained in its track width for me a wider swing is not a issue, I like the machine, decent power does everything I need, wish it had a angled blade for filling trenches. Machine is solid I run breaker, auger, 42inch tilt bucket, one thing I made was a attachment to allow mounting a regular bucket reversed, this allows me to dig and load against a wall scoping away from the machine instead of towards machine, took a bit getting use to but for me game changer even when digging trenches it comes in handy
