I've had damage from renters mounting TV's... pulling out lath and plaster and drywall damage...
At least I seldom go into a rental these days and find the carpet has been pulled up to run speaker wire...
Installed a 65 at work and needed to use the 24 inch channel to pick up the tin foil metal studs and expanding anchors through the studs...
Boss was happy to have it where she wanted it...
All the mounting instructions say masonry or wood stud only... don't have either in a metal stud building.
