Can't wait to see the happy bees when it blooms!

All the best,

Peter

I hope it grows. Buckwheat is easy to see when you broadcast it. These seeds are tiny, so you can't see them once they leave the spreader.
Calling for rain today and again in about 5 days... So let's hope something happens.
They recommended 18lb per acre broadcast. And since it's so hard to calibrate a pull behind spreader for such small seed, I bought 30lbs. It took exactly 30 pounds. 🤣 So, I do have about 50% more seed in that field than needed. I also went beyond broadcasting by dragging and packing. So let's hope for good germination.

That's a good looking field. What did you use to break it all up and get the dirt so fine and soft looking?

The tiller does a nice job!!!! Did you match your glasses to your tractor paint? :)

Got a call for a cutout today. Looks like the swarm just moved in today, so it should be a small group and less comb. Probably spending the day Tuesday tearing into their house

Phacelia watch day 3... We should see something in 4 days. Should. I've never planted it before, so it may be a bust!
