Hey Shortgame, First of all don't let the position of my rear axle fool ya. The weight of the back hoe will be excessive in comparison to the tongue end of the hoe. The back hoe digger weighs in excess of 750lbs, and with it's end position it would take a great deal of ballast to equal out the weight difference. In other words the back hoe will never be perfectly balanced. If I was to raise the stab jacks and put the hoe in the upright position it would certainly raise the rear of the hoe up unless it was hooked to a tractor or truck. The whole trick about articulating the hoe with out a tow vehicle is to use the stab jacks in conjunction with the hoe boom itself, unless of course you have the means to build an elaborate box frame with a small hoe boom.
