Backhoe Backhoe Mounting Brackets for JD 4720 Cab

I re-read this entire post and understand this saga has been going on for several mos (purchased last Thanksgiving?). I can tell you not all John Deere dealers operate like this one. It's a shame because the 4x20 series are great machines based on my experience and others I know.

I believe I started this thread (4720 delivered last Thanksgiving). After two trips (free of charge) to the dealer to have the 485 BH installed, my dealer resolved the brackets / hydraulics issues and delivered my 4720 with BH on 4/9/2011. I'm a happy new owner now.

JohnNewYork is the person who just gave his new 4320 back to his dealer.

Yep the whole deal is off.

The dealer really disappointed me. I'm sure I disapointed them too.

I really liked the tractor, it was great to move snow with, visability was perfect. :thumbsup:

I still need a backhoe and a snowblower, In time, I will persue other JD dealerships. I'm not looking to buy another brand at this time.

Hi All. It's been a while, lets get you up to date. I ordered and received a brand new 4320 with 485 Backhoe, 400cx FEL, and front mounted snowblower. I ordered this unit out of state. The tractor arrived last week. I couldn't be happier. So far the tractor has had no major issues, a couple of small one but nothing to get mad about. I have used it to move sand and gravel and I pulled a motor and transmisison with the backhoe. The snow blower will be delivered in late August after it is built.

The new dealer had no problem mounting the backhoe and the entire process went very smooth. :thumbsup:

The price was cheaper than my local dealer including the shipping.

Good luck with your new equipment. I have exactly the same tractor (2010), FEL, and backhoe, but no front snowblower (snow blade instead). Have almost 200 hrs on mine and haven't had a hiccup. I think you will be very happy. :thumbsup:
