Backhoe Backhoe for a MF231S

I've been looking for a BH for my rig and need some input about Kioto's little rig with a 12" bucket or any other BH for that matter. Open for suggestions.

Almost any three point backhoe will work. Just remember to get a third arm draft lockout from your dealer.

JerryG, please explain what a "third arm draft lock out" is. I'm using a 3-point hitch back hoe on my Case-IH 385 and wonder if I need one too. Thanks, Gene

The lockout is a lock for the draft control. It goes on the area of the tractor where the third arm attaches. It keeps the tractor's draft from thinking that it is pulling a load. If it thinks that a load is being pulled it will try to raise the lift arms. There have been several people that have been crushed to death between the ROPS and the backhoe because they didn't have a lockout.
