Why does Woods install crossover reliefs on their hydraulic angle scraper blades if they are only effective unidirectionally?

Perhaps their engineers don't frequent TBN.

Why does Woods install crossover reliefs on their hydraulic angle scraper blades if they are only effective unidirectionally?

Perhaps their engineers don't frequent TBN.

Maybe they feel one direction of travel is better than nothing.

And protecting when stroke is trying to extend is the weaker of the two directions anyway.

And if a customer is willing to pay for it to make them feel good ....why not.

But just because a major MFG does something like this, does NOT mean that what I and others have been saying is incorrect. Remember that.
