Hello to all,

I just purchased a new B7610 and took delivery on Saturday March 27th. I haven't had much time in the seat yet. Rained on Saturday. I am still getting aclimated to everything. This is my first compact tractor. Looking forward to hearing from other B7610, or other model owners. I will report back once I get to use my machine more.

Hey DaGoatman,

I to have a new 7610 that I got home the same day as yours. i've managed to get 12.5 hours on mine so far. i'm amazed at what I'm getting done and how much fun I'm having. Hope the weather clears up for you. I find that mine runs just fine in the rain.... got a bit wet today.

I got the LA352 FEL, Foldable ROPS, and R4 tires. How are your tractors equiped? I Will be getting a 6' scraper blade for mine soon. I also ordered a tooth bar for the bucket, which the dealer will install once it come in. They didn't have it in stock at the time of purchase. Any suggestions on manufactures for a scraper blade? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I have been looking at a Woods RB72
I will be looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Ha! I got mine on Saturday too! Put @ 4 hours on it - mostly on Sunday - but ran it for two hours in the rain Wednesday - I was soaked. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I am very pleased so far - just reading someone else's post that they were dissatisfied with a BX2200 - now are going to up-size. The big "battle" my wife and I had was basically about loader capacity ( = cost)... I am quite impressed with the power of the LA352 FEL so far.

I got my first taste of "pucker factor" (and yes - I'm belted!) - back end came right up off the ground while trying to pick up some good sized logs! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Oops - need to attach that weight box again after all... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'm also waiting for the rain to let up - can't go tracking up the whole yard just to get seat time! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

My setup: B7610 / folding ROPS / R4 / weightbox / 54" mmm
>edit: Oh yeah - had the dealer weld on hooks to the bucket - reinforced it and painted it to match! $100 - works great. Also have a rear hydraulic kit added - but nothing to *play* with yet. < edit

Quick question: I've been generally keeping the engine rpms around 1500 - 1750 rpms (maybe low 2,000's if really needed) - as the manual says not to run the engine at full speed during the 50 hour break-in period. Now I KNOW I have had the engine running for more than 4 hours?!? What gives?

Is the hour counter *variable* - in other words - does it *count slower* when the rpms are lower? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I don't care either way - just that it will take some time to get through this break-in period!

Enjoy that 7610!

Dan,

Sounds like you are having a blast. The B7610 appears to be a hot seller in the last few weeks. I am interested to know where the hooks were welded onto to your bucket and what reinforcement was done. I am certain that I will want to have this done to mine as well. Just no place to attach a chain to the bucket that appears strong enough. I just don't want to damage anything. Did the dealer do this work?

The hour meter registers 1 hour when the engine speed is at PTO speed (on mine that is 2650 RPM) for one hour. When you have the engine running slower, the hours accumulate slower in proportion to the engine speed. In theory if you have the engine running at 1325 RPM, it will take 2 actual hours to register 1 hour on the hour meter.

Hope that makes sense. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i got the 352 loader, 60"mmm, 60" land pride box scraper, 72" landscape rake, filled rear turf tires, block heater.

with the box scraper on and the filled tires, i picked up my 4 wheeler with no problems of the back coming up off the ground. (insert tim allen grunt here) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i also had the dealer put a hook on my loader. when it goes in for a service sometime ill be having them put on a couple more.

DGM, I just got a 7510 two weeks ago. I got a couple of attachments for the tractor as well (box scraper, landscape rake) that have come in handy. Probably only have 6-7 hours on it so far. Weather hasn't been cooperating. Nor has the work schedule.

I'm a former Hoo (don't think of myself as former tho) and a central VA resident as well. Where ya located?

Thanks BubbaJr! At least I'm not crazy (ok - my wife will debate that! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif) - helps explain the *time warp* when you're in the drivers seat! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

DaGoatMan -

I've attached a file (Adobe PDF) that gives you an idea of the hooks on the bucket - and yes the dealer installed them! Only @ $100 - and worth every penny!

I think first they welded a reinforcing strip (@ 1 1/2" wide) all the way across the backside of the top of the bucket. Next they welded a brace / bracket (@ 4 - 5" wide) from the center edge (visible as dark shadow in attached pic) - and then they attached the three hooks. The center hook is larger than the two ends. Finished with 'Bota orange paint - very nice!

Hope that helps - definitely a *must have*!

Dan
