I got my call today it's here and I sealed my new from the factory B3030-HSDF deal, with FEL-403,60MMM, and loaded turf tires delivered for $19,700.00 no tax, at Lawsons Building supply in RoseHil,Va, ask for chris, it's gonna be delivered Tuesday,

Kubota online priced out at $23,375.00(subtracting the Ballast) so I'm looking at a little more than 15 or 16 percent off, with the delivery and loaded tires, so I think I got a pretty fair deal, and that was about the bottom I could get with ordering a new unit, some older units on other lots might get as little better price but I wanted new, so you might offer around that and see how your deal works out,

price sounds great if you mean B3030HSDC. I am amazed how much more I am paying in Canada...even with the $ conversion factored.
tractor 22,500
loader 4,700
60"MMM 3100
for rough comparison.

I'm planning on putting RIMGUARD in my tires on a HSDC3030 and my dealer tells me there will be little impact while mowing.

Anyone I talk to with the loaded turf tires have had 0 complaints and they say the traction is very good and lawn ripping not an issue. For my intended use I am optimistic this is a good choice.

The rim guard made a huge difference to the stability and ride on my 3030. I elected not to fill the turf tires on my GL 3540 as it would make it a little to heavy for my primary use. I do use a 1000 lb. weight box when i do serious fel work.

After all of my messing around and being in contact with dealers all over NY state, I finally contact my local guy yesterday.
He offered a better deal than all but one other dealer. For a couple hundred dollars more, I elected to buy local instead of paying out that $200 I would have saved in trucking fees.
The machine they had on the lot is an HSDCC. So I get the cold weather package, 60 inch loader and R4 tires just like I would have ordered a tractor. I have a 3ph ballast box or else there is always a mower/brush hog/snow blower hanging on the back to counter bucket loads so I skipped the Rim Guard.
The deal was my JD 790/419 loader plus $14,800. That was as fair a deal as I could find anywhere in NYS and it's 20 minutes from home if there are any service issues.
Will take delivery in the coming week, as they have to remove a front mount snow blower and install the LA403 loader/60 inch bucket.
I may have stuck with JD, but their lowest priced cab tractor was out of my price league and a little more machine than I really need for my 2 acres.

Congrats! You are gonna love that cab. I was in the same position last year....... looked into putting an aftermarket on my B2400. It just didn't make any money-sense in comparison to a factory cab. As far as I'm concerned, Kubota knocked it out of the park putting a cab on this size tractor. :)

I agree with the cab. I wish that I had one. IMHO I would fill the rears with rim guard. The B3030 has way more power than the weight of the tractor can transfer to the ground. More weight equals more traction. Putting weight in the tires adds the weight low and lowers the center of gravity thus increasing the stability. This would be very heplful with a cab which tends to raise the center of gravity.

When i purchased the 3540, 10 months ago the price difference between the factory cab & aftermarket was a no brainer. I agree with ducktape on the 3030 factory cab, kubota was smart to offer this set up. Aftermarket are fine if they are your only option. I had a curtis softside on my B7500 & it was great, well built, great heat, wiper, lights, etc.

I really liked and had no problems with the JD 790. But now it seems that Sims is the only cab option for it. I couldn't bring myself to spring for $3100 on a cab with vinyl doors and no heater. It'll be nice to do snow removal without dressing like Nanook of the North.
Luckily, I was in a position to swing this Kubota deal with no payments. This tractor will last me forever with the relatively gentle use that it'll get at my place.
