Replaced my toplink today with one longer for the impliment Im using..and removing the top link pin ( at the tractor) is a PITA the size of a baseball field...
The lift arms are SO CLOSE they have to be fully rasied to get the SPECIAL SHORT top link pin OUT ( or back in ) and to top it all off..my "bracket" has a slight burr on the right side hole..on the inside edge..so that the pin slide thru the left hand side of the bracket..thru the rod end of the top link and then ya have to ..??..beat...pound..?..something..to get it all the way thru
I dont really want to have to remove the bracket from the tractor because Id have to re-install it and make sure it was torque PROPERLY...( ??) to make it right...so Im going to TRY and get into it with a mandrel mounted grinding wheel ( ???) and not only remove any burrs but also "polish" the ID's of the holes in the bracket and if I CAN...Im going to grind a chamfer on those hoes on both inside edges
What a PITA!!
