i called my dealer today about the b3030 -- i saw one in their lot some days ago, and thought it was worth a closer look.

for the b3030 cab model, no implements, it is $24,500. they're running a "special" now where you get a free loader or belly mower.

that's a lot of cash.

then, to make things CRAZIER, he said the price for the front 'bota blower, no hydaulics, is $5,500.

that is SO MUCH CASH. then he told me he'd give me $7500 for my b2400.

i know, it's 6 more HP, a cab, and a longer wheel-base, but that's like $25K extra after the trade-in.

that, in itself, made me go pat my super-b2400, and think about other things -- :D

That is a lot of cash, especially for the implements. Somehow it doesn't seem that a 63" snowblower should be thousands of dollars more than a 51" blower of the same make...... but I guess that is the way it is. I would like a tractor that size, but would rather have a smaller one with implements than a bare one that cost more.

This past summer my local dealer had a 3030/cab with turfs and a loader for 22,500 if my memory serves me correctly. Yes.... it is alot of money, but have you priced a cab for your 2400 lately????? Holy smokes, they are more than a $5000 Kubota cab and they have no a/c. I find myself wanting the same tractor you are looking at, and also cannot justify the cost at this time. I'm hoping eventually i'll talk myself into it !

June of 2006, I bought a B3030 cab with a 7' RFM for $20,000. I recall the tractor would have been $17,500. alone with the other $2,500. for the Bush Hog brand RFM.

Added a Kubota LA 403 loader this fall for another $4,000. Got the original purchase at 0% for 36 months.

Hope this is helpful.

Last spring I priced out a B3030HSDC for 18,000. But it was tractor/cab only, no FEL or MMM and it had R4's.

Eric, can't you get a snow blower for the front of your RTV? I saw a youtube video of a guy running a nice snow blade on the front of his and it was raise hydraulically. I don't know what the flow rate is on them but if it could run a snowblower that would be a slick setup and a lot cheaper and more comfortable then a tractor. Maybe trade the RTV and tractor in on a Toolcat:D

In Lawrence, Kansas-last year, a B3030 was $18,900 with cab, heat, and air. No attachments.

Eric,
I sent you a P.M. I am about to trade my 2007 B3030HSDC in. I wound up bringing in heavy dozers and hoes for what I needed. I live in Cooperstown, not far from you? (Upstate) The tractor is in like new condition, loader, toothbar, bucket hooks, front 2" receiver, block heater, rear hydraulics, tires filled and about 35 soft hours. The seat is the new seat replaced by Kubota. It also has a Woods 3pt snowblower with hydraulic chute rotation. This is a snowblowing machine! Let me know if you want save thousands. I'm sure we could work something out.

I bought my B3030HST last August:

Tractor with Cab 17,700.00
Loader 2,150.00
Bucket 460.00
Quick attach for Loader 625.00
72" MMM 2,700.00
Front Blade 1,200.00
Blade QA subframe 624.00
Extra Valve 725.00

Hope this helps.

It was quite expensive but I love it. I plow snow in freezing blowing nights with just a shirt on. The lights on top of the cab are also great for better visibility. I'm going to get a set for the rear next time it's in the shop.
