B2650 Question about Charging after Light Bar Install

Kit is B7324 and was $230 CDN.

If you get a chance, snap a pic of the alternator mounted up, and a close up of the alternator data plate.

Not sure what data you would like, something specific?

It is a pretty common alternator, used on a lot of applications, but for $230 CDN it made more sense to buy the kit from Kubota since it included the alternator, bracket, wiring, belt, and fasteners to do a very simple swap.

Thanks for all the info with this thread!!! I have lights purchased and have been delayed on installing and, until this thread, never gave it a thought that this tractor doesn't have good power output from the stock Dynamo set-up. I purchased the B7324 kit on Friday and will install that before monkeying with any light's. I still may install a deep cycle / starter battery (i.e. Optima maybe) to ensure the system functions great, especially when using the lights with the engine off.

Thanks Kyle. I ordered my kit Saturday and should have it soon. Cost I was quoted was $190.00 US but I don't know if that's with or without tax. My dealer says that the description of the kit is for the B3200 but I'm pretty confident they're the same.
I'm pretty excited this kit exists. This seems like a pretty simple install so I look forward to getting the kit and getting it put in.

Pretty easy kit to install, maybe should have taken pictures or did a video to show how easy. It must be for a few models as it comes with extra pieces like bolts, and a dipstick.

Hopefully everybody else's install goes as smoothly as mine did, post your results.

The B7324 kit is a wholegoods item and Messick's price is $233. The alternator in the kit is part number 16241-64013 and Messick's price is $279. Another example of Kubota's wholegoods prices being lower than parts prices.

I would like to change mine out also, but hesitant until I can see a video to see exactly what goes where and how. Can someone please make a video and post it? Sure would help us mechanically challenged old folks. I used to just tear into things to fix, but as I've gotten older my confidence has lessened without good pics and videos.
