Hey Chuck, if you need some red paint, just let me know. I'm sure we can get some at the dealer where I bought my tractor.

Since these B262x's are new machines, we need to start a forum to get the bugs out. I am still confused about the 50 hr service. They just don't tell you to do as much as on the older BX's..

I did buy a red rotary cutter in the spirit of being color blind....... I do have a reputation after all. Maybe I can find some more red things Jay.

I am really pleased with the chipper. I paid $2770 which might be high. A neighbor of mine who has a BX23 ( you have neighbors like that don't you Jay?) stopped by when I was getting ready to put it away tonight, and had a good time trying the chipper out on some of my brush. Now he really wants one for his BX.

The RC is a 48", and I think it will work fine in my tight places. I may get some weights for the front to use if I have the loader off. The loader seems smooth, and powerful for it's size, and I like the new location of the control lever.

Lawnking....... yes, I'm looking at snow options, but have to get over writing this check a bit first!

I was just quoted $2999 at my local dealer ...... they had two in stock.

Congrats on the new machine, I recently purchased the same one and absolutly love it, for my little over 3 acres this is the perfect tractor for me, I am sure you will be pleased if not already.

Yeh, look at some of the Orange from the '80's vs. anything mid-90's or newer. Add to that the fact that the paint fades with time too. I just repainted my '80 B7100, with period-correct "Old Kubota Orange", and the '98 looks downright red by comparison

And the fun continues! Turning compost piles here, and I can tell you for a fact that it's a lot more fun this way than with anything with a handle on it!

Looks like you got both compost and mulch going on there. A tractor w/an FEL is invaluable for turning both and you don't need bins either.
The compost pile I build this season goes into the garden the next season. Works out pretty good.
I've been comtemplating getting a chipper. I've got more trees than I can count and storms with any wind at all deposits branches all over the ponderosa. Since we've got to get burn permits anymore I'd just as soon start making mulch.
