Backhoe B26 backhoe attachment

At the Messick's parts website I found this list of compatible machines for my bucket. I take this to mean that the quick attach coupler on my BT1100, though not exactly the same (they have different part numbers due to a possible a pin grabber feature), the actual dimensional layout of the radii on the buckets and couplers are identical.

So, I am going with this information when I source the bucket ears. I will get back with how this works out for me.

I have a BH92 with a quick coupler. I bought a ripper tooth from Rhinox that was for a Kubota mini-ex. It had to be modified.

Yesterday I completed a Marketplace purchase for a set of bucket ears I will use on a DIY ripper tooth. All the radii and the locking pin hole match up perfectly with my coupler. I will have to modify it slightly to accommodate the USA Attachments manual thumb pivot bushing.

Now I just gotta get my butt in gear!

Will do.
Yesterday, the person I bought the bucket ears from cut all my parts for me with his good sized 60 amp plasma cutter.

I have some flushing up I need to do for the three 1/4" shank laminations to even out some of the hand cut bumps and grinds. Then prep the weld joints, including mill scale removal and some beveling of the thick parts. The plan is to weld the laminations together enough to finish flushing up the laminations and then cut gripping and gnawing teeth on my band saw (gripping on the inside radius, gnawing on the outside radius).

I'm getting kinda pumped up to make some actual progress.

I was able to get the prep done last week. Now to get some practice beads in before I start gluing this thing together.

I do not know why the link shows, but the picture does not. Any ideas? File size too large?

Touching the image opens photo in another tab for me. Jon

Yeah, the same thing for me. But, I remember correctly, I use to drop pictures and they showed up with the body of the post. No biggie I guess.
