B20 BHoe unhook Help

Guys,

I'm new to all this and needed a trac /forums/images/graemlins/confused.giftor a bit bigger than a lawnmower, my friend had his B20 for sale for 8900 with 800 hours on it it has the backhoe and front loader a box blade and 16' trailer with pintle hook- he delivered all to me for 8900.00 first did I do ok?
second what is the right prcedure to remove the backhoe and hook up the box blade without killing myself, my friend never disconnected the hoe so he don't know and I don't have a manual on the backhoe- it has some type of fitting like am air hose attached I can see by the hoe, but how and where do I set this thing off??

I've been looking for a used tractor; that sounds like a great price. I would have expected to pay anywhere from $12-15k depending on condition and maintenance history. Can't help with dropping the backhoe.

I have a B21 that I believe is very similar. You can download an excerpt from my manual here. It explains the removing & reinstalling of the backhoe. This is a PDF file and is 2.2 MB long. Probably best to right click link and “Save Target As …”
