That floor looks awesome!

Thanks. I'm so tired of sanding, vacuuming, washing, and then applying varathane. So tired of it.
But it's done and I love it. Well worth the effort.

I made a small fire in the woodstove last night. Didn't fill it up. It fizzled out about 1:00am and this morning it's still 70 degrees inside. It was 38 outside this morning, so I'm really liking the way my logs retain the heat. I think I'll burn way less wood than I anticipated.

Bo what tanks are those (manufacturer and capacity) and who did you source them from? I'm getting ready to start on my "pump house" & personal "waterworks" south of you, near 85617

They are 2500 gallon each. I don't recall the brand. I got them from Ace Hardware in Kingman.

Mr. Fuller are you spending the winter in the house this year or still travel to Phoenix just getting up to the house on week ends?
Notice that Mt. Eldon at Flagstaff has had snow so it may be coming your direction also .
Spent 3 days getting a communications man off of the Mountain Hualapai At Kingman. snow was about 12 ' deep .

So never found water near your property. makes you become a conserved person of the liquid when its low.
Place looks good .

Ken, I'm spending most of the time there. Every other week I spend 3 days in Phoenix. We had our second snow last weekend, got about 4" but it's melts in a day or two.
There's probably water 1000 feet beneath me but it's not worth the 30k to drill. I'd rather conserve and collect rain water.
I'm trying to get a few trees in before the ground freezes. I don't mind the snow at all. It's just a muddy mess when it melts. It best not to even try the roads until they dry out.

Thanks Bo, hard to tell how big they are from the photos. 7500 gallons is 20gal/day/year with zero replenishment. That ought to give you a good buffer between rain events and hauling your own.

Holy crow. You are getting to all the big things without taking a little time off after the CO. I'm guessing your off button is on the fritz. Great progress. I'm jealous. I start in the Spring.

Heh, heh, heh. My wife often complains that she can't find my "off" button. I just don't get into relaxing much. I'm always finishing one project, in the middle of another, just starting another, and planning the next. 😄
