Thursday we spent the dry scrambling for a drill bit (at least 36 inches). Finally found one and got back in business Thursday evening.

Friday (yesterday) we finished the 4th course and spent the afternoon trying to figure out how to set the upright logs. All 3 guys helping me insist that we need a crane. I think we can do it with the Telehandler. Taking Saturday off, and then Sunday we are going to set the first upright log, WITH the Telehandler.

Looks great. I didn't realize how thick your logs were. What's the diameter?

First course is about 32 inch, then 28, and then about 24 for the rest.

I am anxious to see who gets to climb up there to set that ridge pole. I, for sure, know it won't be me. Looking good, Bo.

Man, that place is going to weigh a lot with logs that size.

Any worry whether foundation will handle all that weight?
