You can buy 2000lb axles at TSC or Northern tool.

For the money difference get 3,500# axles. They are 100 times more common and parts are 1/2 the price. I see 3,500# axles for about $115 each.

If ya want brakes then you will have to double that and then some.

You should be able to buy axles for under $100 each in Kentucky. Look up Gator Made Trailers, they are in Somerset. They can set you up.

this is my trailer for my smoker. I have a single axle now. That axle came from a mobile home. To stiff cooker bounces over the road. cooker weighs about 2800 pounds now. going to lenghting trailer and a roof to cooker. So that is why tandem 2000 lb axles

Just change the springs to a lighter weight spring, they will have less leafs for a smoother ride.
