Anyone installed a 3rd function valve on a JD 3320 ?

I was looking at a 3rd function valve from Everything Attachments for my 3320 , has anyone installed one of these for their FEL ? Was it very difficult ?

I had a WR Long third function unit installed on my tractor recently. It required knowledge and skill sets that I do not have. It requires knowledge of tractor electrical systems, hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, hydraulic plumbing etc, etc. I looked at it and had my Kubota tractor dealer do the job. This way I have a system that is perfectly matched to my new grapple.

We have the WR Long 3rd function on New Holland TL100A for our 84" grapple. It works very well and the thumb switch ( to open / close the grapple) on the FEL control lever is much better IMHO than having to reach for one of your rear remote levers to operate grapple jaws.

Good luck with your selection. Don't know anything about the EA 3rd function.

I installed the WR Long 3rd function kit from EA onto my Kubota B3300. I have no expertise in hydraulics or electrical and it took me a lot longer to figure out than a pro, but I got it done. Part of my challenge was figuring out the plumbing given I have a backhoe. I had to go to a hydraulic supply store and they reworked a fitting and hose for me. For the electrical, some research showed I could either tap into an existing hot line or add something into the fuse panel. Given the kit comes with a line fuse, I used trial and error to find a hot wire, bought a soldering gun, youtubed videos on how to solder, then went to work. It was actually quite simple now that it's done.

I was going to have the dealer do it for about 90 minutes of labor, which is relatively inexpensive, but I had to get the tractor there, etc etc. I wasn't in a rush so I opted to learn how to do it myself.

Worked perfectly right from the start and if I can do it, anyone can. Good luck
