Is anyone still following this thread.

I ask because I recently took possession of an Antonio Carraro 4400 and am looking for a front loader. I haven't had much luck contacting dealers on the Antonio North American dealer website. So any assistance would greatly appreciated.

Here are some well adapted loaders for Antonio Carraro tractors having the bidirectional feature like your 4400

Antonio Carraro Ttr 4400 Reversible Tractor With Sigma 4 Rear Loader

A front end type loader on an Antonio Carraro 4400: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2llN_Ellzg

A rear end loader offers several advantages:

1. the load is close to the rear tires and the heavier front end with engine, radiator and its longer lever arm provides a weight offsetting advantage.
2. a three point hitch implement is quicker putting on and taking off.
3. a rear loader does not lift as high as a traditional front end loader and thus has less roll over risk when both loaders are at maximum elevation.

The biggest disadvantage to a rear end loader:
A three point loader has shorter lift arms and does not elevate as high as a traditional front end loader.

I should first apologize as I did not state I am located in the states. So I need dealers in the US.

I've investigated the rear loaders and I've decided not to go that direction due to the removal of the lower 3pt arms to install. Also iits not quick switch and I use the 3pt hitch for other implements. Thank you for your response though.

A side note Sigma no longer makes loaders for the Antonio tractors.

Thank you for continued diligence on ideas, please keep them coming.

I have been in contact with them and am waiting a response. Pat feels though he will not be to oblige my request as to the lack of support in Italy for loaders on Antonios due to governmental restriction on the industry.

Again, thank you for your thoughts on the matter and any ideas are welcome.

I have a A.C. Comtrac 5500 Tigrone with Sigma FEL. I needed a new joy stick controller cover boot so contacted Sigma via email. They have no dealer outlets in the U.S. so SOL. Guess it is time to grab some HD nylon Cordura and have the wife sew up a cover!
These are great tractors if you take care of them and due the proper maintenance. Looking at adding another and it will be the HST 4400 for sure as it will do what I want with small round bale haylage, field mowing and I can finally get a cab! So tired of the dust and pollen baths.

Yeah I remember that sequence. I really think they blew it not covering it. But then, we have no way of knowing how many other times he did similar things with lifting the front end with the loader and stressing the plates. I think they should have just gone ahead and offered a fix. The ill will they left certainly would hurt the brand. I have never had an issue with my FEL on the AC 5500 but then I don't do those kind of lifts out of respect for the machine and a possible issue. 18 years now and still good.
