Another source of attachments?

Hey:

Here's a site I stumbled across...ASE equipment. They sell a Toro Dingo-like mini-skid steer, but the real interest is a whole arsenal of attachments that could perhaps be bastardized for PT use... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Neat stuff. The vibrating plow looks prettty cool. So does the jack hammer type thing and the concrete cutting chain saw.

I kind of like their grapple forks but would really like to find a (not too heavy, but definately stout) grapple/root rake more curved on the bottom to scoop under and up and kind of roll the roots, rocks, etc., into a pile in the "mouth" in the process whilst letting the dirt back out. I think about 60" wide would do nicely. PT only offers a grapple "bucket".

Northern Tool sells something like that (search Northern Tool for "grapple"). It weighs something like 600-800 lbs, so I couldn't possibly use it (I would only be able to pick up a few twigs... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif), but that might be worth considering for your big honkin' 2445...

Thanks to all for all the the links.

I've been a land clearing, garden tilling, tractoring fool of late....spending as many days in the woods and hours on the PT as I can. As a result, my keyboard time has been limited...sorry for the delayed response.

Just got a price on one of the 8gpm trenchers for the SS16 (no adapter for the PT)...$6699. Ouch! Makes PT's price look ridiculously low, doesn't it? Man, I'm surprised Power-trac doesn't have a market in making OEM equipment for other mfg's machines...!

I agree. I bet they could make a heck of a 3pt quick hitch with hydraulic tilt and release and sell the heck out of it with some good marketing.
