Hello all. Newbie here. I recently got an old mitsubishi with a k4c 4cyl diesel. It looks like this machine is due for an aftermarket electric fan to replace the belt driven fan. I have a feeling the extra current draw is going to call for a bigger alternator. I'm hoping there is an alternator that will fit my bracket to keep fabrication to a desired maximum of none. Anybody got any good places I could start? Gracias!

I will take a guess and say there is a good chance the courier alternator mentioned in the other thread will work for your application. Try it and if it doesn't fit, take it back...not much to lose.

Valid point. I'll give that a shot. pretty much any small v-belt driven alternator with a half moon tensioner should be able to fit. Gracias!

Take the old one with you. The local rebuild shop matched up a replacement for mine. Don't know what it came off of but it works.
