I'm not familiar with that particular one, but I used that type for several years on a 60 gallon compressor. It one ran to 125 psi, but I wouldn't hesitate to use one right up to its rated pressure. You'll probably have little or no problem with it, if you change the regulated pressure occasionally, but I had to take mine apart and clean it a couple of times when I didn't change the regulated pressure for several months. Of course, taking it apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together were no big deal. As for the water, yes, it will take some water out, but not all by a long shot. You'll need a separate dryer for that if you really need dry air.

My garage compressor is an 80 gallon 2 stage unit I bought from HD last year. It has a max pressure of 175lb. I have it set for about 130lb. which is all I need for my power tools. The Filter - regulator you posted will work fine. Is there a reason you need it to run at 175lb.?
If not you can adjust your compressor pressure control down to whatever you want. I'd say 125-135 would be good for any shop tools. I bottom blow my tank to remove any water at each days use but they do have in line water traps and driers available.
