Adding Electrical outlet to tractor

They are great for charging up laptops and cordless tool batteries.

Yes but most cell phones and GPS and Ipods and laptops and all those devices had/has chargers that work off 12 volt system long before need of 120 VAC junk system on vehicles....

Most system run on 5 volt DC (or less) today, AKA USB power... Or 2 or 4 AA or AAA batteries....

Dragging a generator around is OK if you already have one. Buying one to drag around is OK if you need it for other purposes. If neither of those is true, go battery or gas.

I use a HF 3500W electric (battery) start generator to run power tools where ther is no power available. They're usually on sale for around $700 and will easily power your pole saw.

When I first saw that feature on TV commercial my thought was "another useless sales gimmick"....

I haven't found it to be a useless sales gimmick at all...

When traveling it powers a electric shaver, but recharging my lap top and drill batteries is where it's really useful for me. My wife uses it to charge, rechargeable lights ect.. when we are driving.

I use this little coleman with my pole saw strapped to pallet forks. I have a wireless remote on/off from amazon to turn it on. If you look closely, you can see the box plugged into the outlet. cost me $11.

It's went up a little in price, but works nonetheless.

I currently have an electric tree trimmer on a twenty foot extension pole. Is there a way to add a 15 amp electrical outlet to a tractor? Saw a commercial on tv that advertises electrical outlet on new Chevy pickup trucks.

Generator as mentioned works ,
so does an Inverter- been using HF 2000 watt 4000 surge with their tree saw for years with no problems.

Also tested it to start a 10 hp snow blower for another members project.

Before we got a genny also used it to power a coffee maker and once the coffee was done big screen and satellite when the power went out.

I like the Inverter because for what it is rated to, It can be mounted on the tractor and not take up a lot of space.
