Very interesting bucket, SAM. It seems it would be most useful with a
grapple for stacking rocks or logs, since the spin function is so important
there.

It also reminds me... I know someone with a backhoe attachment who
put his bkt on backwards, so his hoe was more like a shovel. It was
quite effective for digging up and under things. I have not tried it myself,
but it is something to consider. You have to watch your curl cyl rod, though.

It more or less a must this equipment if you want to get a digging jobb over here. Jobs go faster, more precision, and you save fuel, dont need to move your machine all the time.


Something like that that had an indexable thumb would be slick digging and placing rock. I doubt std hydraulic cylinders would be the best design choice. Hydraulic rotary actuators would work and be big $$$$.

The rototilt does have a lot that could be damaged working in a hole or close to rock and trees.

I know I need to be patient and less heavy handed in the work I do.
