I've attached some pics of 2 cables I have. In the pic showing both cables the 1 on left has metal and the right is an all plastic plug with a notch on one side. Is yours like either one.

I don't think that's what I'm looking for, I see a Svideo connector there, which I don't have. I found the manual Pyle - PLMRM72B - Marine and Waterproof - Marine Video & the piece I need is labeled "Option 1". It has 3 4 pin plugs with a retaining nut on it (Pyle's webpage actually tells you to go get http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Fe...=1426525444&sr=8-7&keywords=4pin+camera+cable if you need to connect to those plugs, but I have that part, need the bit between it & the camera).
After doing some quick math (1 line for audio, 1 for video + 1 reverse sensing wire * 3) + 1 power + 1 ground = 13ish total pins in the plug that connects to the monitor.
I'll go try & grab a photo, but the plug is buried under the dash & not sure if I can get a decent photo without pulling it apart. I put a pull string on it so I can get to it by feel if I find the missing cable, or get a replacement. Not sure if I'll be able to get a photo though.

Ok, here are the 2 parts (4 if you count the spade connectors for power & ground) that I need to hook up to. The big one is around thumb sized, the small dusty 4 pin one is pinky sized.

I looked up the manual in the link you posted. The top of page 2 (option 1/2 page) shows it is a 7" TFT monitor. 7" TFT monitor is what I have. In fact, I have 2 TFT identical monitors and both came with different plugs on them that are not interchangeable. Yours is a 3rd different plug from the 2 I have. Sorry I couldn't help.

Midnight epiphany! I was using a different tool bag when I was troubleshooting what turned out to be a bad ground a while back. After looking for that dam cable for the past month, finally found it.

Thoughts on this (monitor and camera combo, other than being on the more-expensive side of the equation)?

Mirror image ability. Three channel input: front, rear and ??? - put a camera underneath so one can see what one missed (what was run over) in the other cameras? :laughing: oh! and it has audio so you can also HEAR what you ran over! :laughing: Looks like grid lines can be turned on/off.
Maybe a bit extra bulk here. Not sure about the camera (bulk too), the IR and what happens if you have one of these mounted INSIDE the cab.

If mounted inside cab at night the LED's will blur camera with reflection off glass. I guess it depends on what quality picture you need as to if you should spend $200 bucks.. I have the less than $50 camera video screen combo, I'm thrifty or cheap depending on who you ask.

Yeah, I was thinking that the IR mounted inside might be an issue.
I like the the ability to turn off grid lines and the mirroring function.
