For the price,I was willing to look it over...800 hrs on a diesel is just broken in nicely(IF it was maintained properly). The dedicated trailer was a bit of a negative in that I want to be able to haul other stuff occasionally...

Ed: Without seeing it, of course, I can't tell for sure. Power Tracs are basically pretty simple, however, and if something isn't working, it is easy to price a repair/replacement. Even if you assume that the engine at 800 hours hasn't had great care, if it is running properly, it is likely to last a while. If I were in the market for a 1430, I'd have done my best to go to NC and look at this one. Of course, one of my abiding mottos is: "You can too make a silk purse out of a sow's ear."

I spoke to pt and they said the quick-attach was an option untill 99 and at that time became standard equipment. They also told me that the rest of the tractor is still the same today as then.
