7205 Horsepower

I thought the Cub Cadet 7205 was a 20 hp unit yet there are two listings in Tractorhouse.com from two different dealers claiming 22hp. I have also come across strings in the Mahindra forum claiming the Mitsubishi engine in the 2015 (identical to CC 7205) is the S3L engine that TYM and Montana claims to generate 23 hp. Can anyone shine a little light on this?

I've heard people say these tractors dyno'd w/ a higher than rated horsepower. Maybe that's what they are getting at.

My 7234, is listed as a 23 HP model w/20 HP at the PTO. The Hydro model was 23/18.
