Mowing 7 Foot Mowing Deck

I think the consensus is back to the 6' mower due to lenght and weight.. even though the tractor has the hp requirements fine.

I concur; tractor will handle the bigger one but other factors seem to make the small one the best choice.

I have a TD35D, and i use a 90" woods deck. It is a RM990 and the tractor
handles it real well.

That mower is a finish mower. Finish mowers generally rest all their weight on the ground via casters and rollers. On a rough cut mower you have significant weight on the rear of the tractor.. not to mention that on a finish mower you get alot of width.. but not much length.. due to multiple short blades.. vs single or dul spindle large blades. Add to that that a finish mower doesn't have to be built like a tank vs a HD 7' rough cut mower that might weight 1800-2000# .. etc. makes a huge difference.
