Buying Advice 655, not many around

Trying again.

I'm new here, tried a previous post and had internet drop. Oh well on to the issue. Found a 655, 86 model with FEL, MMM, rear blade and box scraper. Two sets of tires and wheels (turf and lug) to boot. 600 hours. Very clean, but admitted by owner that work was done such as new paint. Asking 9K for all.

My reservations 1) parts 2) age 3) price, in no particular order. It is sized for what I want. Will probably add a snow blower and cab at some point.

BTW, good to have you aboard. Perhaps you may gain some additional insight in regards to that model by visiting this website. new parts for it will be high but there is some out there that has been salvaged out but 9000 is way to high. I have a 1215 NH hydr 4wd with loader and am asking 4500 it is completely orginal with low hours

Been spending a lot of time looking. On most all websites looking at tractor values and attachments values. Hard to get a grip on tractor value, just not much info out there. We'll see if anybody else has opinions.

Is it safe to assume that the 1215 would be a comparable machine, then? I know the JD is priced because of brand. At some point, the hours don't matter anymore, it really comes down to how it runs when you consider the age.

the 1215 is the same size but newer.
i also sold a 955 hydro with loader for 5k
