Snow 59" front mount snow blower speed

I have a 59" JD snow blower on my 3720 and it works perfect with one exception. I can adjust it to go up slow or fast but down is another story. It is full blast to the ground. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have 4410 and if I push the lever all the way into the float position the snow blower lowers quite gently to the ground.

I have a 3720 and a 59 snow blower attached with front quick hitch A-frame mount. It has a fluid control valve at the front up/down cylinder for adjusting the drop rate. I adjusted the valve when new about 7 yrs ago and have never had to change it. Are the hydraulic hoses connected correctly?

Joy stick control? What do you adjust for slowing down the "up" speed? Push forward on the joy stick to lower the snow blower, or pull back on the stick?

I wonder if there is supposed to be a orifice in the down hose that is missing. Just a thought.

I'm thinking the hoses may be reversed at the quick connects ?
