45 Viewing?

This morning I logged onto TBN, and as usual I went straight to the Yanmar owner's forum, where it said ther were 45 viewing!

All the other threads showed the usual 3 to 8 or 10 or so people viewing..........was this one of those "spyders" causing this high number of "viewers"? Cause I've never seen more than 8 or 10 people on any one thread, let alone 45.

So, c'mon some of you computer nuts, explain this to me............

If you want your answer, just go to the bottom of the MAIN INDEX page to "What's Going On?" and click on the link that says "Currently Active Users" and it will list everyone who is on the site and name the thread that they are currently viewing. Then you can count the ones who are viewing the thread in question. And you can also find other useful info like "Most users ever online was 1036, 10-06-2006 at 11:48 AM." :

Yes but I'd have to click on each name to find out what they were viewing, wouldn't I?

Anyway, I just thought it was weird that it would show so many people viewing a specific brand thread like that; as a Yanmar owner that's the first place I go when I log in and there's never more than 5 or 8 of us viewing that forum at any time I've logged on.................

If, as I speculated, there were only 5 or 8 people on the forum, where would the exta "viewers" come

Edit: Apparently I don't follow instructions well, Tallyho told me to click the link and I didn't. So I don't have to click each name, I'll get a list just like he said. Unfortunately, I didn't do that the day I saw "45 viewing"
