I have a Case Ih Farmall 55c which is a LS tractor.
I'm hoping to hookup a four-wheel drive indicator light in the existing gauge cluster. There is a momentary indicator light for 2 or 4 wheel drive when I start the tractor. I Need to know if the cluster has a external pin or pins that I need to hook to with a activation switch. Does anyone know of this? A drawing of the rear gauge pod would be helpful.

I did that on my Branson but I had the service manual to figure out the pin on the dashboard for the 4WD, along with what polarity it needed.

Then it was a matter of make a bracket to mount the proximity switch near the 4WD lever and wiring it. I did add a 200 mA fuse to protect the dash in case something bad happens.

In your case, you would need to figure out what LS model does your tractor equate to and try to find a service manual. I think I have a few LS manuals saved that Asteral shared in the forum.

Thanks for the reply, and I've been looking through the CaseIh service manual but haven't found the info yet on the gauge cluster pins. I was going to check to see if LS has that as a option on there tractor and go to them for a harness and switch. My next step. I need to do this on my tractor and my brother-in-laws. Thanks for the info
