Anyone out here found a radio for a 3000 tractor without a cab. Getting tired of humming the Yanmar Boogie to myself all the time. Went to my Deere dealer and all they had was a big unit that there wasn't enough fender to mount it on my tractor. Got sent over to the Boomer dealer and they had a compact radio and separate speaker kit for $370. The only thing Deere had for compacts was cab installed so no weatherproof cover on it. Any help would be appreciated.

IPod with Bose noise-cancelling headphones is my choice.

Unless you just prefer a radio built into/mounted on the tractor itself, I would go with a portable and headphones of some type. I have found that the noise of the tractor engine makes me have to run the radio too loud....to listen without headphones. I mounted a small bracket on the ROPS at the height of my head, seated. Then, I put a radio/IPOD in the bracket mount and have headphones that I wrap behind my head, so that no wires are dangling to get in my way. Works very well. how do you like the 3720? just got mine a few months ago and LOVE it!

I use a Ipod Nano on a belt clip and have in the ear rubber headphones and it works great. Volume is low and I can hear myself think over the yanmar.
