35ft toolbar walking

I am pulling a 35 ft manure injection bar with a 9430 about 5.5 mph and cannot get it to stop walking back and forth. I need to be at this speed to apply the accurate rate of manure. I can't reduce the gallons any more than I have so slowing down is not an option. we're using coulters and going about 6 to 8 inches deep. Any ideas?

are you using chains from the end of the bar to the front of the tractor? Other than that I got nothing.

and I realized that this is an articulated tractor and you CANNOT run chains to the front.

I knew that was an oversight on your part so didn't comment. Additionally he's probably got a pull-type applicator which again negates the ability to use chains.

I hope he gets some valuable advice. Probably not gonna happen on this thread..... Maybe if posted in the JD AG section. Hopefully he'll find an answer somewhere.

Is this hitch trailered or axle mounted ? If trailered, change (drop) the hitch point to lower the tongue. You should check the trailed axle alignment(s) to make sure they are toed in. Otherwise it will walk (wander in a limit cycle).
