3 Point Forks

I've been using the following set from Titan Attachments on my Deere 855 MFWD for several years:

They work great, with two exceptions:

1. The lifting power of the 855 is a little light for many pallet-moving jobs. I think it's well under 1000 lb. at 24" off the pins.

2. I don't have a third hydraulic channel on that machine, which means manual top link. Manual top link means no tilt control on the forks, which is very limiting, there's no way to adjust for sag while lifting.

In a pinch, it can work, though. I made this system work for odd jobs for several years.

I have the Deere forks that are adjustable, and adjust them fairly often. Wide if carrying logs.. in between to match with pallet differences, and close together if digging out rocks or roots. Many different uses for forks. I made my FEL forks to fit my JD iMatch quick hitch and added the hyd. top link. I move pallets of firewood in the winter with the 3 pt forks when my Western blade is on the front of the Deere (FEL off).

The JD forks were modified for the 3pt iMatch hitch with the addition of two top plates (A and B) for the top hook and a solid bar (C) across the bottom for the lower hooks to catch. I've picked up and moved double pallets of firewood (figure 40% of a full cord around 1800 lbs). The hyd top arm is essential for this to work well, and work well it does.
