2WD vs. 4WD

I've seen cable-driven loaders and even backhoes. Some of the old farmers I've worked with still use them. But what old farmers still use doesn't have a whole lot of correlation to what works best. Lots of times its just what they've got.

At the road construction company I work for, we have pictures of older cable-blade driven dozers, an also even an older mule tem pulled grader setup.

Neat stuff... glad I have a tractor..
