I have a 2305, works great for me , of course a 2520 or 2720 are better but there a lot more money and a lot larger tractor.

I view it as the 2305 was really a SCUT (replaced by 1000 series), and 2520 a small CUT.
So, if OP mostly landscapes, 2520 is the answer. If OP mostly mows, 2305.

When I started looking at Deere's last summer, I was seriously considering a 2305. Then I started thinking about all the stuff that I wouldn't be able to do with it and started thinking about a 2520. After a couple more months, I ended up with a 3520!! :laughing:
Based on what you put in your thread over in the "Snow" forum, go with the bigger tractor. You'll be glad you did. As I've read several times here on TBN, you will never wish you got a smaller tractor!!

I have a 2305 & its a great little machine, but I cant wait to upgrade to a 2520. its still small enough but so much more machine.
