No its not new, its a 2001 a 4100 model. It has quite a few hours on it for the year it is, as the guy cleaned up, around the new houses they built. It has about 900 hours. I would only give me $1500 trade on a new Deere, but he wanted to sell this one, so he gave me $2500 on it. So I paid $6,000 and my tractor for it, it sold new for between $12,000 and $13,000 they tell me. With a 3 cyc, yanmar engine, I didn't see how I could go wrong. Its hydrostatic drive. I didn't think I would like that, with the pedals, but after using it grading my hill drive, its pretty nice.
