As promised, here is pics of the weight mounts I added to the rack. There is a steel support in the rack right under it. Its held on with one fender washer and a 1.5" strap which is like a huge washer.

Arly, what was the total weight added?
The wieght of my 10 guage plates and 5/8th bolts isn't much!! :ROFLMAO: In the winter, since the plow is normally on, front weght is plenty with all that. But over the summer while dragging logs around, then 50lbs might be added just for that job.. Steering is overrated...

Had a mechanic fellow look at the propeller shaft today and while doing that, noted a boot clamp had came off. He got the fixed and said he could help with getting that fixed so it won't pop out agian while under duress again.

We did get the propeller shaft updated and I'm 70% sure it will work. I'm still going a post about that but I left the job when I became ill so my cohort did most of it. Nonetheless it wasn't that bad of a job and I'll post details later. Due to low snow here and trail work remaining we won't install pods.

We went to work on this on Monday and had planed to take pics of everything but I ended up in the hospital as some of you know. The fellow who finished it didn't take hardly many photos. It wasn't all that hard a job and after figured we out the propeller shaft float distance, he cut a round plug from some reinforced rubber belting. This stuff was quite stiff, fiber reinforced, black and 1/2 an thick. He thought that 5/8 thick might have worked but this thickness barley got together. This 1 inch wide plug was put in the rear coupler to limit its rearward movement. All three mounting bolts were removed from the differential and one was removed from the engine mount and the right stabilizer. After the plug and grease was added, it was reassembled. I'd give this a 70% chanced of fixing the shaft grief.

So, it's just a spacer inside the rubber coupler?

It doesn't have any rubber couplers but the rubber spacer is inside the rear steel one that the rubber boot clamps to. In the top photo you see all parts.

Arly I hope you're on the mend and I'll take your posting as a sign that you are. 👍
This shaft, I had pictured this when you mentioned this issue last season as one of the front wheel drive shafts. Clearly it's not. Where is the shaft, between the engine/transmission and the front rear axle? Or is this interaxle between 2 rear axles that I thought the rear most axle was chain driven from the front (rear) axle?
Front rear, rear front terms don't make for good reading. 😆 I hope you understand this dribble.
