Behind each rear tire is a reduction gear housing for the rear end. Each side housing has a drain. There are also 2 drain plugs in the central rear axle housing that sits between the two reduction gear housings.
In addition to the filter you mention on the left side, there is also a hydraulic filter behind the right rear tire. It sits basically behind where your right heel is when driving. It’s a bigger spin-on filter that hangs downward.

It shows the two filters and what they do. The big filter behind the right floorboard would be the main hydraulic filter in the suction line to the hydraulic pump.
The hydraulic pump is a dual pump that has two discharge lines. One line goes to the hydraulic valves and lift in the rear.
The other line goes to the steering and HST. The filter under the left floor board is in this circuit and filtering pressurized oil that feeds the HST transmission.
Both circuits return oil to the common sump that is in the rear axle housing. That housing contains all the oil for hydraulics and lubrication of the gears and bearings. So a complete change the hydraulic fluid will require changing both filters and draining all 11 gallons of oil out of the back end of the tractor.
Sorry I do not have pictures handy of the bottom of my tractor at the moment.
So, the 'hook screw cap' on the right side-rear, opposite the check fluid stick, fills both transmission and hydraulic fluid??? Thanks for the above explanation, you should be the editor for service manuals.
