It's time to replace the hydraulic filter on my 1845 and I can't find my manual. Also, I can't remember where to connect the host to bleed air from the variable displacement pump. Do I connect to the "T fitting" at the top of the pump as shown in the image below?

On my 1445, it is a capped port on the side of the VVP, about 1/4"NPT equivalent in size.

Do I connect to the "T fitting" at the top of the pump as shown in the image below?

That is where I connect on my 1845.

I assume it is similar to the 1850. I am not on my computer right now but if you go to my web site, there are labeled pictures showing the location.
