1532 Rear Remote Install W/ Pics

Decided to go ahead and install the factory rear remotes on my 1532. It has factory fender mounted joystick loader valve.(Pic 1)
The new valves mount on the rear-end cover, right side. (Pics 2 & 4)
Remove bypass cover & sandwich valve bodies between it and rear housing.(Pics 5,7,9,11)
Valves mounted,lever pivots installed.(Pics 13 & 15)

Finished the install today. Pic of lower levers installed.

Upper levers installed.

Rear outlets.

Both valves do have a working "float" position. Each valve also has a small lever on the rear of the valve body to select single or double acting cylinder use. If you look real close in this picture you can see the rollpin lever.

These are the OEM valves direct from MF.

I understand that they are the OEM valves. What I was wondering was did you have any options with the valves, or they only offer them set up as you have them with the float position?

Only valve they had in the parts listing so no it is not " an option", just comes standard .

What do you have in this project dollars wise (if you don't mind me asking)? I've been contemplating on doing this as well and want the factory look like yours but just am not sure if I want to sink the money into right now.

I am not trying to be smart but have a problem quoting prices on a public forum. I will tell you that it is worth calling around and getting quotes on any OEM parts regardless of brand. At the time of my purchase, Jacks Small Engine sure beat any one else that I offered my business to, had great shipping, and kept me updated of my order through the busy holiday season. YMMV Steve

Check the Whole Goods at the dealer instead of the parts department. They would be offered as a kit with everything you need. It takes a little longer but the cost is normally a lot less.

I am not trying to be smart but have a problem quoting prices on a public forum.

Curious as to what you feel the problem is with quoting prices? You mean prices posted by a dealer, or members here who are shopping?

I have no problem with a ball-park figure. Have been called out on other forums when the price I paid for something is no longer available for various reasons . Purchased both valve asseblies for $1500.00 dollars not including shipping and taxes. Hope you can do as good or better. Steve
